KidREACH seeks to provide 4th and 5th-grade students with one-on-one tutoring that will motivate and encourage them to succeed in school. 

 

Your child’s teacher may have indicated that your child might benefit from some individual support in his/her academics. You will need to complete the student application and parent agreement forms which are necessary to enroll your child in the after-school tutoring program. The program meets Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at All Peoples Presbyterian Church, which is located at Mountain View Plaza - 34116 Date Palm Drive, Cathedral City, CA 92234

 

Covid guidelines permitting, the program begins in October, 2023 and continues through the end of the school year in 2024. We have a limited number of tutors so it is important that you call us at 760 832 8403 to reserve a spot for your child. You may also download the Student Application and Parent Agreement, complete and email them to kidreach@allpeoplespc.org. Alternatively, you may visit our church on Sunday mornings between 9:00 am and 11:00 to drop off the forms in person.  

 

On the first night of class, we will match your child with a tutor. If there are no tutors available, we will place your child on a waiting list until we have an opening. All tutoring is FREE of charge, however, parents must provide transportation to and from the church. If transportation is an impossibility, please contact us to see if other arrangements can be made. NOTE that all of our tutors are screened through a background checking service and a supervisor is on-site at all times.
