No one really likes the painful stuff of life. I can tolerate the growth stuff...there is the pain of the heart, painful enough that it brings us to tears because of the loneliness; the ability to move through the grief because there is a knowledge of hope.

For many progressive Christians, going to heaven is not the goal, but rather the gift. We are called to live “kingdom lives” (lives in sync with and that reflect God’s Beloved Community) now – trusting that whatever happens afterward will take care of itself.
